Hello Fresh Review - Mama Loves Little

Hello Fresh Review

Thank you Hello Fresh for sponsoring this post! I had so much fun writing it!

Happy Friday!! I am so excited about this! Today I'm going to talk about our experience with Hello Fresh. Hello Fresh is a meal service that delivers fresh ingredients straight to your door every week! The ingredients are high quality and the meals are nutritionally balanced, which makes my mama heart happy.

I think my absolute favorite part about our week with Hello Fresh was how less stressed I was about meal time. I am a total wannabe homemaker, wannabe in that I'm not very good at it! Haha! I can cook a recipe no problem but I think the whole planning/shopping thing hinders me. The grocery store with a baby and a toddler...yeah no thank you!

Hello Fresh sends you EVERYTHING you need (except olive oil and salt and pepper!) It is a great system because there is no wasted food. You use all the ingredients they send so you don't have to worry about things going bad and ending up in the trash. Here's the ingredients we used to make our Braised Chicken Thighs with French Couscous and Green Beans (*spoiler alert! It was so yummy!)

She LOVES to help me in the kitchen! And I love that it keeps her busy while I cook. Things I had her do: de-leaf rosemary, pretend cut with a plastic knife, break green beans in half.

Of course I had to try on our matching aprons!

With your package you get one booklet with instructions for each meal. They are pretty easy to follow and require minimal prep!

This is the first time I had ever cooked chicken thighs. I seared them first and then added them in the pot of sauce to finish cooking.

Once everything was in the pot I just let it simmer until the chicken was cooked.

Served it over couscous and topped it off with chopped olives (optional, I didn't put them on mine!)

Avery was a fan!!! She even ate the chicken, she has refused to eat meat for days now. This was a total mom win.

We are definitely going to use Hello Fresh again! The food was great! It was also really fun trying new things. I was actually excited to cook for my people this week, the thought of it usually just stresses me out. If you would like to try a box yourself Hello Fresh has given me a code to share! Use RACHELM35 for $35 off your first box! If you do end up using them I'd love to hear what you think! Tag me in your Instagram posts! I'm @mamaloveslittle.

Have a great weekend!

In love, Rachel
