She Believed She Could, So She Did. - Mama Loves Little

She Believed She Could, So She Did.

Good morning friends! This quote has been on my mine A LOT lately. Probably because I'm about to get myself into some pretty stressful stuff. What I love about this quote is the fact it's so straight forward. "She believed she could so she DID". Its not "She believed she could, so she kinda thought about it, talked about it and ended up quitting" haha!!!

Let me tell you about what's coming up for me.

School, part time and my classes include A LOT of essay writing.

Work! This is so so excting I recently got a job with lululemon to be an educator at one of their retail stores

More work I run my own business on the side with Origami Owl!

Oh yeah and I'm a wife, mom and novice blogger to.

Wow.

But the thing is I WANT to do all of these things. My calling is to be a nurse. I know it. I figured that out for sure when I worked as a CNA. So if I have to write tons of boring essays to get there, so be it. I also LOVE lululemon, the company as a whole is amazing, if you need some inspiration read their  manifesto. I feel like the job came a perfect time.

But what I love most is being a wife and a mom. Sometimes I just want to be those two things. But the fact of the matter is I want it all.

I'm not sure how this is all going to play out. I'm already tired, coffee helps but I think I'd need enough for a whole army! So I guess were just going to see what happens. Being in this situation brings this verse to mind:

Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters,[a] whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.
James 1:24

This new schedule is defiantly going to test my faith. I know for a fact that I'll want to quit (multiple times) but I also know that it's possible. There are other moms who have done this and that have succeed.

So who knows.
(not me)

So tell me friends, what keeps you going? What motivates you?

That's all for now.

In love.
Rachel
